Research & Development
R&D is a complex area and requires careful thought and specialist knowledge to ensure the guidance is followed and projects are explained clearly to HMRC. We specialise in architecture, engineering, construction and design and have managed to secure over £40m in benefit for our clients over the last 3 years.
Deep Understanding
Our deep understanding of our key sectors and our approach to R&D has meant that less than 0.5% of our claims have been questioned in that period, in comparison to the national average of 17%. We are also extremely proud that we have been able to successfully defend our work to HMRC at every time of asking.
This comes down to two key points – the first is that we only work with companies that we understand fully, our teams work full time within our key markets and are therefore able to give the best advice. Secondly, we do not believe in grey areas or stretching definitions, our team will find all qualifying R&D but are also the first people to reject projects if they do not meet the criteria.
